Youth Connect Program

Youth Connect Program

The Youth Connect Program is aimed at fostering an inclusive, supportive, and interactive environment for the youth aged 14-19, especially youth that are hard to reach, in the Brampton South area. The Program seeks to provide opportunities for the youth to build essential leadership, confidence, and communication skills, through various interactive programming. Please don’t forget to sign up below!

The Chill and Chat Mondays refer to de-stressor activities that allow the youth to relax in a friendly, warm, and encouraging environment. De-stressors include, but are not limited to, karaoke evenings, dance nights, outdoor games, and card/board games. The youth will also have the opportunity to engage in an open discussion about various aspects of stress that youth face and learn more about mental health resources and coping mechanisms through interactive activities.

The Youth Leadership Tuesdays will focus on building the leadership skills of the youth and encouraging civic engagement through discussion groups, life skills workshops, and community engagement outings. The youth will come together and discuss any issues they wish to address that impact youth today, become active by pursuing potential solutions, and make important connections within their community.
